Can Kylo sense their general aura? Yes! He is filled with bitterness, anger, and resentment towards almost everyone around him (especially if they're stronger than him)
On a sliding scale of light-to-dark, where does your character fall, and can Kylo notice this? Welll I'm going to say he's more towards the dark side but not all the way there? He has a general lack of empathy - for example for those who are weaker than him - but he's not incapable of caring about and protecting people. He's just very questionable about the way he'd go about it, or most things really. I'd say he's teetering at this point with leaning towards the dark side. And yes Kylo is free to notice this. He doesn't really hide his opinions because he doesn't see them as wrong.
Is Kylo allowed to tell when they're lying or hiding something? Andrew is terrible at lying so yes.
This is a big one: is Kylo allowed to use the Force to rummage through your character's thoughts and/or memories and extract information? I am open to this, yes! Fair warning if he starts trying to antagonize Andrew with said info he likely will get violent

Finally, does your character have any special powers beyond that of a baseline human? Yes. He has telekinetic abilities and hints at telepathy? But it's only between two people with the same power in his canon and never touched upon. If you feel like you can/want to do anything with that that's fine!
I lied. One more question. Can Kylo destroy your character's stuff? Yes and yes if he's ready to deal with a pissed off teenager. (can you tell violence is a theme for him)
